CAPRS stands with other organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand in signing an open letter urging the New Zealand government to establish emergency humanitarian visas for Palestinians in Gaza who have family ties in New Zealand. The letter calls for immediate action to grant these visas, support safe evacuation, and provide comprehensive resettlement assistance for those arriving.   In joining this call, CAPRS reaffirms its commitment to refugee protection, humanitarian response, and the importance of urgent, compassionate action in crises. The current humanitarian situation in Gaza has left over 1.7 million people internally displaced, with escalating casualties and a worsening crisis. Through its research and advocacy, CAPRS supports initiatives that promote safe, inclusive pathways for those affected by conflict and displacement.   Read the letter here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PXrkHXD942041U1TC0Jban5SAdwnkfCH/view
