This presentation will highlight the vital role of ethnic communities in preventing family and sexual violence in Aotearoa New Zealand. Community leaders from Latin American, African, and Southeast Asian communities will share grassroots prevention experiences, successes, and challenges.
Dr Juanita Rojas will also reflect on her PhD research on intimate partner violence prevention within Latin American communities, addressing policy gaps and the importance of community-led approaches.
