Join the The Centre for Asia Pacific Refugee Studies (CAPRS) – Tāwharau Whakaumu and the Centre for Asian and Ethnic Minority Health Research and Evaluation (CAHRE) for an engaging seminar exploring community-driven solutions and partnerships in refugee health.
In this seminar, Dr. William Stauffer, a global expert in refugee and migrant health based at the University of Minnesota (US), will discuss the founding of the nationally renowned Migration Health Initiative (MHI). MHI supports the health of migrants and refugees through facilitating partnerships, collaboration, and community-driven solutions. Dr Stauffer will reflect on lessons learned as MHI grew from an innovative idea to an internationally
recognised organisation addressing health disparities for populations through a systems-focussed approach.
